Advice for Track Runners: The Nike Dragonfly 2 Blueprint Track & Field Distance Spikes are designed to be exceptionally fast. Providing a combination of a comfortable fit and a propulsive feel.
This colourway is part of the Nike Blueprint Pack. The Blueprint colourway is inspired by Nike's co-founder, Bill Bowerman, who - in the words of Nike - created "the blueprint for serving athletes".
Underfoot Feel
Full-length ZoomX foam, Nike's lightest and most resilient foam, provides energy return. In addition to the foam, a full-length plate - with a curved design - further helps to deliver a propulsive feel. If you wore the previous version, you may be interested to know that the plate material is lighter in the Dragonfly 2.
For the Dragonfly 2, the big-toe side platform has been elevated, and the heel structure has been updated for added stability.
The width of the midfoot and forefoot should - again, in comparison to the previous model - provide an improved feeling of stability on straightaways and turns.
Upper Fit
The engineeered mesh upper delivers breathability and comfort. The conforming fit should mean you hardly notice the material.

The Nike Dragonfly 2 Blueprint Track & Field Distance Spikes are for long-distance track running.
We do not recommend using these Nike spikes for anything other than their intended purpose.

Sizing Note
Note that spikes are designed to be snug and secure, limiting lateral movement while providing drive onto the running surface. They are manufactured quite small in comparison to road or trail running shoes. To ensure a secure fit and optimum performance, we recommend your spikes being at least a full size bigger than your regular shoe size.
